Our Story

We're building the portfolio risk tool
we wish existed.

Most investors have no idea how risky their portfolio actually is—until it's too late. TradingKite changes that.

The problem we're solving

In 2020, during the pandemic crash, we watched investors panic-sell their portfolios at a 30% loss—not because the companies failed, but because they didn't understand their concentration risk.

Their brokers showed them pretty charts and "portfolio tracking." But no one showed them the warning signs:

  • •85% concentrated in one sector (Tech)
  • •Portfolio beta of 1.8 (high market sensitivity)
  • •No stress testing against historical crashes

They were flying blind. So we built TradingKite.

Traditional brokers

Show you what you own. Don't tell you if it's risky.

TradingKite

Shows you the risk before you make a bad trade.

How we think about risk

Three principles guide everything we build.

1. Show impact, not just data

Don't just tell me AAPL is up 5%. Tell me what happens to my portfolio if I add more AAPL.

2. Test before you trade

Simulate crashes. Stress-test scenarios. See the damage before it's real.

3. Tools, not advice

We give you the calculator. You make the decision. No bias. No agenda.

Where we're going

The future: AI risk co-pilot

Today, TradingKite analyzes risk. Tomorrow, it predicts it. We're building AI models that spot concentration risk before you do, send alerts when correlations shift, and suggest rebalancing strategies—all while staying a tool, never advice.

Our 2026 goal: Prevent 100,000 bad trades by giving retail investors institutional-grade risk intelligence.

What we believe

📊 Data over opinions

We don't tell you what's a "good" stock. We show you the numbers. You decide.

🔓 Transparency always

How we calculate risk scores, where data comes from, what we don't know—all public.

🌍 Accessible globally

PPP pricing. No gatekeeping. Risk analysis shouldn't be a luxury.

🛡️ Privacy first

Your portfolio data is yours. We never sell it. Ever.
