What we collect
Account Information
Email address, name, and password (encrypted) when you create an account.
Portfolio Data
Stock symbols, quantities, and purchase prices you manually enter. We do NOT connect to your brokerage accounts or access trading credentials.
Usage Analytics
Pages visited, features used, and time spent (via privacy-focused analytics). No third-party trackers.
How we use your data
- •Provide the service: Calculate risk scores, run scenario tests, send email alerts.
- •Improve the product: Understand which features are used most to prioritize development.
- •Send important updates: Product changes, security alerts, or billing notices.
What we DON'T do: We never sell your portfolio data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use it for anything other than providing TradingKite services.
Data security
Your portfolio data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). We use industry-standard security practices:

- ✓ No third-party data access
Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we have about you
- Delete: Request permanent deletion of your account and data
- Export: Download your portfolio data in CSV format
- Correct: Update inaccurate information in your account

Cookies & tracking
We use minimal cookies:

No third-party advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking.
Data retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently erase all personal data within 30 days. Anonymized analytics (no personally identifiable info) may be retained for product improvement.
