01Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using TradingKite, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
02What TradingKite is
TradingKite is a portfolio analytics and tax intelligence platform. We provide informational tools only — we are not a broker, financial advisor, or tax preparer.

TradingKite is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or tax professional. All estimates, projections, and analytics are based on data you enter and publicly available market data.
Nothing on this platform constitutes investment, tax, or legal advice. Always verify tax figures with a qualified CPA or tax adviser before filing. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
04Your responsibilities
- •Account security: Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
- •Data accuracy: Analytics quality depends on the transaction data you enter. We cannot verify the accuracy of manually entered data.
- •Lawful use: You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Do not use TradingKite to evade taxes or for any illegal purpose.
- •One account per person: Do not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.

06Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans (Pro and Pro+) are available on monthly or annual billing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel beforehand from Settings → Plan.
We will notify you by email at least 3 days before an annual renewal charge. Prices may change; we will give at least 30 days' notice before any increase takes effect for existing subscribers.

07Intellectual property
All platform code, design, branding, and content are owned by TradingKite. You retain ownership of the portfolio data you enter. By entering data, you grant us a limited licence to process it to deliver the service.
You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of TradingKite without written permission.
08Limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TRADINGKITE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANALYTICS OR TAX ESTIMATES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR FILING.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADINGKITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, TAX PENALTIES, OR DATA LOSS — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR DIRECT DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold in your country of residence.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date above and notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
